The Evaluator is responsible for the electrical testing and evaluation of transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.
- Evaluate various types of units which include internal and external visual inspections, electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Collect dimensions, measurements, take photos, and complete drawings to document findings for fabrication options
- Follow minimum and maximum guidelines on inventory thresholds needs.
- Operate tablet to complete data collection for inventory equipment and complete evaluations
- Partner with other departments on the results of the units after evaluation.
- Complete virtual warehouse transactions
- Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors
- Provide reporting and data metrics to management
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
- HS diploma / GED required.
- Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Technical or Vocational school preferred.
- 1-3 years transformer work history preferred.
- 1-3 years mechanical and / or electrical field experience preferred.
- Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
- OSHA10 certification preferred.
- Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
- Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
