Evaluator

The Evaluator is responsible for the electrical testing and evaluation of transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.

• Evaluate various types of units which include internal and external visual inspections, electrical testing and troubleshooting
• Collect dimensions, measurements, take photos, and complete drawings to document findings for fabrication options
• Follow minimum and maximum guidelines on inventory thresholds needs.
• Operate tablet to complete data collection for inventory equipment and complete evaluations
• Partner with other departments on the results of the units after evaluation.
• Complete virtual warehouse transactions
• Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors
• Provide reporting and data metrics to management
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Other assigned duties as needed.
• HS diploma / GED required.
• Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• 1-3 years transformer work history preferred.
• 1-3 years mechanical and / or electrical field experience preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
• Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Meet expected evaluation goals assigned by supervisor / manager
• Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
• Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.
• Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values.
• Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.
• Complete company compliance and safety training when required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
