Internal Job Description – ICU\n\nUnit : ICU | Beds : 5\nRatios : 1 : 2\nEMR : Paragon (Hospital) / Allscripts TouchWorks (Clinics)\nScrubs : Royal Blue (RN) | Steel Gray (CNA)\n\nCertifications Required\n\nBLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC\n\nPatient Types / Diagnoses\n\nStroke (TPA), STEMI & NSTEMI, ventilated patients, critical care drips\n\nDrips\n\nCardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, Vasopressors\n\nEquipment & Support\n\nVents : Hamilton C-1\n\nRT : 24 / 7 (leaves 6pm — 10 min call response)\n\nPharmacy : In-house until 10pm; remote after\n\nHospitalist : In- house\n\nTele / Monitor Techs : Yes\n\nIV Team : None\n\nScheduling\n\n8s or 12s : \n\n07 : 00–15 : 30 / 15 : 00–23 : 30 / 23 : 00–07 : 30\n\n07 : 00–19 : 30 / 19 : 00–07 : 30\nWeekends : Every other\nHolidays : 7 major – scheduled\nFloating : Med-Surg\nOrientation : 1–2 shifts
