Test Automation Engineer

Overview

Job Title : Test Automation Engineer (Full-Time, Exempt Status)

Position Will Report To : Staff Programmer Analyst

Onsite Placement : Glenmont, New York or Springfield, Missouri (Monday-Friday)

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to drive quality and efficiency across our property and casualty policy systems. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and optimizing automation frameworks and processes. You will work on complex assignments, collaborating closely with technical and non-technical team members to deliver robust and effective automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and improve robust automated testing frameworks for web / API applications
• Support the design of effective test cases by working with Agile teams to understand systems, workflows and requirements
• Execute automated tests and improve testing processes
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Implement and maintain test reporting and dashboards for visibility into test coverage and results
• Participate in code reviews for test automation to promote quality standards and best practices
• Translate strategic automation objectives into actionable testing solutions
• Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and techniques
