Associate Surgical Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Full time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.

Prepares surgery suite for surgical procedures. Functions as a "sterile" member of the surgical team during procedures. Responsible for providing appropriate instrumentation and supplies to the surgeon in using aseptic technique. Participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Course in surgical technology, or On-the-job training.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• Related experience.
