Job Summary

This Shop Supervisor is responsible for supporting and guiding technicians through career growth through engaging, mentoring, and reviewing skillset proficiencies, training opportunities. The ShopSupervisor will build long-lasting relationships with customers by exploring their needs and expectations, providing specific measurable goals, and achieving results within a customer's expected timeframe. The ideal candidate will proactively communicate with the associates, managers, and customers on repairs, job requirements and scheduled work.

General Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate shop jobs with Leads / Technicians

Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees,customersand management in a cooperative,supportiveand courteous manner

Approving repair estimates for accidental damage getting signatures

Developing accidental damage cause identification system and investigating,reportingand proposing corrective actions

Operate in a professional and courteous manner to exceed customer expectationsboth in presentation and communication

Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner"

Educational / Job Requirements

The ideal Shop Supervisor will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, two or more years of material handling industry experience, and basic mechanical experience. The Shop Supervisor will have proficient knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel and Office 365. The ideal candidate will communicate to associates, customers, and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills while protecting the organization's values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
