Guaranteed Hours : 72–96 bi-weekly

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend

Holidays : Required

Call : Voluntary

Block Scheduling : Approved as long as every other weekend is accommodated

Position Overview :

A facility in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a NeuroSpine / MedSurg / Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will care for higher acuity patients with neuro and post-surgical diagnoses, including stroke, seizures, post-op neuro / spinal surgeries, DKA, renal failure, and post-ICU care.

Responsibilities :

Provide care for higher acuity Med-Surg and Telemetry patients

Perform neuro assessments and manage drains, chest tubes, and post-IR groin sites

Monitor post-surgical Neuro / Spine patients, including post-op trauma care

Administer medications, chart assessments, and provide bedside care

Float within the unit as required

Requirements : Active IN RN license

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required

Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro / Med-Surg / Telemetry

Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking, and post-surgical care

Unit Details : Number of Beds : 24

Patient Ratio : 5 : 1 or 6 : 1
