Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full-time OB / GYN Hospitalist for our Maternity Centers in Northeastern Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with clinical experience to support the full scope of hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Act as a critical part of our group practice model and assist with perinatal safety at each maternity center.
• Balance clinical and academic responsibilities, including supervision of OB / GYN residents and medical students.
• Work shifts of 12 to 24 hours in duration.
• Join a team that may include laborists, OB / GYN hospitalists, in-house on-call OB / GYN specialists, MFM specialists, nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers, in addition to residents and medical students. The Cleveland Clinic is an academic teaching hospital with a full range of residency and fellowship programs.
• Receive subspecialty support for OB / GYN as needed for each maternity unit.
• Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
• Locations include CC Fairview Hospital (west), CC Hillcrest Hospital (east), and CC Main Campus Hospital.
• Delivery volumes : Fairview and Hillcrest have busy obstetrical units with approximately 4,000–5,400 deliveries annually; Main Campus provides specialized care for up to 200 deliveries annually.
