Electrical Controls Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support our client in Charlotte, NC .

Responsibilities include substation protection design, studies, settings development, troubleshooting, and template management.

Support transmission system upgrades and manage tasks via planner tool.

Extension possible.

Weekly Hybrid Schedule : 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years in utilities.

Expert in A spen , CymTCC , SEL software .

Thorough grasp of NERC standards (PRC, CIP, FAC).

Skilled in electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor relays .

Familiar with protection schemes for lines, buses, transformers, breakers, and capacitors.
