About the role : Our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) are trusted technical advisors partnering with our most strategic customers to turn process orchestration visions into measurable business value. You will collaborate with clients from day one to address technical challenges, guide adoption of the Camunda platform at scale, and build lasting relationships across diverse teams. This role is part of our Customer Success team and involves solving complex problems with customers across industries.
What you'll be doing
Serve as the primary technical contact and trusted advisor for designated enterprise customers, guiding them through all stages of Camunda adoption
Lead the creation and execution of tailored technical adoption plans to maximize business outcomes and long-term success
Provide hands-on technical guidance, best practices, and advisory services to business and technical stakeholders from onboarding through ongoing operations
Identify and remove execution risks by conducting platform and solution health checks, managing escalations, and advocating for customer needs internally
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional Camunda teams to drive measurable customer outcomes at scale
Spend time on-site with accounts for key milestones (as needed, up to 50% during busy periods) to deepen partnerships
What you bring
At least 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Account Manager, or a similar role
Strong background in architecting and deploying large distributed systems for mission-critical applications
Technical skills such as
Kubernetes at CKAD / CKA level
Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and enterprise software frameworks
Proven experience with large-scale deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenShift
Aptitude for strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and tailoring software solutions to customer needs
Experience communicating complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with technical and business stakeholders at all levels
Willingness to spend time on-site with accounts (up to 75% during certain periods)
Ability and / or willingness to use our product
Nice-to-haves
Experience in enterprise automation, business process management, process orchestration, or robotic process automation
Familiarity with Camunda products
What We Have to Offer
Compensation
We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets reflecting local competition.
The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth :
United States : $180,100.00 to $290,400.00
Germany : €116,400.00 to €192,500.00
United Kingdom : £113,100.00 to £186,000.00
Singapore : S$223,700.00 to S$335,500.00
