Software Engineer
Summary : Seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Linux-based application support and search engine technologies for an 8-month project role.
Requirements :
Experience administering / supporting applications hosted within Linux Infrastructure.
Experience working with Search Engines such as IBM Watson, Solr, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch.
Demonstrated technical problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently to deliver solutions and document steps / observations.
Experience communicating technical decisions and rationales to stakeholders and development teams.
Preferred Skills :
2+ years of experience with enterprise search technologies like IBM Watson, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, Solr.
Proficiency in working with cloud databases in complex environments requiring high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities :
Support and maintain the search engine for a global company's website as part of an IT Scrum Agile Delivery Team.
Specialize in IBM Watson Foundational services including crawling, indexing, and query capabilities optimization.
Adhere to coding standards, workflow automations, change management, incident management, vulnerability management, and problem management processes.
Additional Notes :
This is a fully onsite role with no remote option.
Pay Details : $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
