Position : Repair Technician II
Location : Orlando, FL 32822
Duration : 6 12 months (Possibility of extension or conversion)
Work Schedule : Monday Friday, 08 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on two-way radios and related communication equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using industry-standard procedures.
- Program radios according to customer specifications and operational requirements.
- Clean and refurbish equipment to meet quality standards.
- Document repair activities, including serial numbers, model numbers, and feature sets.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repair logs.
- Utilize test equipment such as Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Service Monitors, and Watt Meters.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols during all repair and testing activities.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications :
4 7 years of experience in radio repair or a related technical field.Familiarity with telecommunications test equipment and diagnostic tools.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Mechanically inclined with the ability to disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.Solid computer skills and ability to navigate software interfaces.Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.Ability to work independently and follow technical procedures accurately.Requirement :
No degree required for FTE conversion Must pass CET (Certified Electronic Technician) exam CET certification is a strong plusMust-Have Qualifications :
Computer repair experience Radio repair experience 3 5 years of experience in radio repair Familiarity with Google and / or Windows platforms
