Senior Back-End Software Engineer

What You'll Do :

Lead a diverse array of technology projects and guide a team of developers with extensive expertise in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to devise solutions that fulfill the company's regulatory requirements.

Stay updated with tech trends, explore and experiment with new technologies, engage with technology communities, mentor aspiring engineers, and occasionally write or review code.

Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans towards financial success.

Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, in conjunction with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).

At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

7+ years of experience in at least one of the following : Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.

2+ years of experience with a cloud service (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.

1+ years of people management experience.

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

Location : Chicago, IL | McLean, VA | Riverwoods, IL

The annual salary for this position ranges from $175,800 to $220,700 depending on location and qualifications. Additionally, this role is eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
