What You'll Do : Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the financial institution environment. Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client procedures. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, clients, and visitors. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms. Minimum Requirements : Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
