Job Summary :

• Project : Build highly complex new K-12 online learning platform within a large publicly traded company (start-up mentality).
• Team / Pod : Data Integrations & Reporting (ELTs Schemas Data Movement)
• Core Mandate : Safely and scalably move data in and out of systems ensuring compliance and migration viability.
• Primary Responsibilities :
• Develop backend and integration solutions using Python.
• Interface and integrate with multiple external LMS APIs (e.g. Blackboard PowerSchool).
• Extract and import / export data between systems (e.g. Snowflake SSIS).
• Ensure schema validation data quality and data reconciliation.
• Work on state and educational reporting requirements.
• Support document extraction and handling of various data formats (e.g. physical note data).
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on ML / AI data pipelines (e.g. absenteeism data normalization).
• Tech Stack :
• Python FastAPI JSON
• AWS (Lambda SQS SNS EKS Cognito)
• Docker Terraform Jenkins
• Snowflake (as data source)
• Soft Skills :
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful and capable of mature high-quality coding practices.
