Procurement Transformation Manager
The prospective candidate will lead the coordination and communication of NYCHA Supply Management & Procurement's (SMP) transformation and re-engineering efforts through the implementation of initiatives and deliverables called for in NYCHA's Transformation Plan. The candidate will project manage and communicate on a multitude of deliverables and milestones related to the procurement transformation, including but not limited to monitoring project progress, setting deadlines, solving issues that arise, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, evaluating and communicating on performance and progress, and guiding change management. Under general / broad direction of the Chief Procurement Officer, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the Procurement Transformation Lead will be responsible for the following :

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four (4) years of satisfactory, responsible, full-time experience in a large government agency or business firm with programs in the field of housing, real estate / management, housing construction, engineering or a related field of which at least eighteen (18) months must have been in a responsible administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or 2. Education and / or experience equivalent to "1" above. However, all candidates must possess the eighteen (18) months of administrative, consultative, managerial or executive experience as described above.
