Litigation Associate

Hoge Fenton, a distinguished multi-service law firm, headquartered in downtown San Jose, is seeking a Litigation Associate with substantial experience in real estate litigation. This position will focus on real estate disputes and litigation, but will also support the firm’s other litigation practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the State Bar of California
• 6+ years of litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in real estate litigation
• Strong working knowledge of the California code of civil procedure, evidence code, and relevant areas of the civil code and business & professions code
• Ability to manage cases from inception to resolution with general supervision
• Ability to independently identify issues and anticipate / recommend strategy in litigation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Location

This position can be based in our Silicon Valley (downtown San Jose) or Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) office. Travel between locations may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $215,000. This range reflects the firm’s good faith estimate of potential compensation, which may vary based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
