Laundry Manager / Housekeeper (Private Residence)

Location Beverly Hills, CA

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Laundry Manager / Housekeeper for a large private residence in Beverly Hills, CA.

Job Summary : This key team member will be responsible for overall laundry duties, including caring for all garments and linens on the estate, operating laundry equipment, working with outside vendors such as dry cleaners, and also performing general housekeeping tasks.

Schedule : Full time, day or mid shift. 40 hours per week - Schedule varies. Laundry Duties and Responsibilities (60% of week) :

• Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous garments and laundry articles using l laundering equipment
• Inspect all garments and articles with highest level attention to detail
• Sort and arrange laundry articles per specifications and wearer preferences
• Maintain well organized closets
• Maintain linen changes and linen inventory
• Transport and track all outsourced laundry and dry cleaning (multiple vendors)
• Maintain supply inventory and cleanliness of laundry facility and all equipment
• When laundry work is completed, this team member will be assigned housekeeping tasks

Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities (40% of week) :

• Detailed cleaning of the entire house, including bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and outdoor social areas
• Turn down the beds in the evening and making beds in the morning
• Properly handling antiques, dishes, china and other valuables while cleaning

Qualifications :

• 3+ years related experience. Either :
• housekeeping and laundry (at a private residence or high end hotel)
• Or dry cleaning / garment care
• Experience operating laundering equipment
• Experience working around fine art and antiques preferred
• Fluent English speaking
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Comfortable working around pets
• Valid Drivers license
• Background checks will be performed for criminal and credit
