Location : Tulsa, OK 74133 (Oklahoma nursing jobs)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital – Labor & Delivery Unit

Start Date : November 5, 2025

End Date : February 4, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18 : 30 – 07 : 00)

Total Hours per Week : 36

Open Positions : 2

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1800-$1850

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license (required at time of application)

At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required

Proficiency with electronic charting systems (any system accepted)

Community hospital or similar clinical experience preferred

Ability to float to related nursing units as needed

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Triage and care for obstetrical patients throughout labor and delivery

Monitor patients using External Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM)

Manage and maintain central lines (CVC / PICC) and insulin drips

Circulate and recover C-section patients

Perform sterile vaginal exams and follow isolation precautions / PPE protocols

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-volume unit (100-200 births per month)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns
