Sterile Processing Technician-2

Description

: Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department.Education : ▪ Required : Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR High School diploma or equivalent AND Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

Experience : ▪ No prior experience required

Skills : ▪ Excellent Communication Skills ▪ Working knowledge of computers ▪ Ability to organize instrument sets ▪ Able to pass a written proficiency review. ▪ Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail.

Licensure / Certification / Registration : ▪ Preferred : CRCST or CBSPD (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)
