Job Description

A health center in Connecticut is seeking a Psychiatrist to treat both children and adults in the outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity :

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday
  • Hours : 9am-5pm
  • Setting : Outpatient clinic
  • Patient Population : Both children and adults

Responsibilities :

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management
  • Prescribe, direct, and administer treatments or medications to treat psychiatric disorders
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other providers
  • Discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Review patient histories and perform physical examinations

    • Qualifications :

  • License to practice medicine in Connecticut
  • Board Certified / Eligible in Adult and Child / Adolescent Psychiatry
