About the Opportunity
Our client is a national, employee-owned builder delivering large-scale mission critical and industrial projects across the U.S. As they expand their data center portfolio in the Midwest, they’re seeking a proven Senior Project Manager to oversee ground-up data center construction.
The Role
The Senior Project Manager will oversee full lifecycle project delivery - managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, risk, quality, and client expectations. You will influence strategy, ensure alignment across field and office teams, and serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery
- Own all project financials, including forecasting, cost tracking, risk management, and change orders
- Develop and manage master schedules; coordinate with field operations and trade partners
- Build strong client relationships and act as primary interface throughout the project lifecycle
- Direct project engineers, coordinators, and other support staff; provide mentorship and performance feedback
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, contract administration, and compliance
- Drive project meetings, documentation control, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure quality standards, commissioning readiness, and project handover requirements are met
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and additional work with existing clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field8–12+ years of experience in construction or engineering project managementProven track record delivering large, complex projects.Strong understanding of MEP scopes.Proficient in project management and construction software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel and support projects on site as neededWhat’s on Offer
