  • Provide technical leadership for building structural projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM staff, project managers, and technical leaders across multiple design centers to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and deliverables to ensure technical quality, constructability, coordination, and compliance with company standards.
  • Represent American Structurepoint within the engineering and construction community through professional organizations, networking, and industry involvement.
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and lead structural engineering staff and teams of staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience developing contracts, project scopes, fees, budgets, staffing plans, schedules, and proposals.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Broad experience with multiple building types, structural systems, and construction materials.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, owners, contractors, developers, multidisciplinary project teams, and junior engineering staff.
  • Strong commitment to delivering practical, cost-effective, and constructible structural solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to establish and grow a structural engineering practice.
  • Operational experience including group financials, projections, resource allocation and other leadership tasks.

Preferred:
