Terros Health is hiring an Arizona Licensed Registered Nurse to join our Priest Drive Recovery Health Center in Tempe, AZ.

Position is located near Loop 202 / Priest

Full-Time, 40 hours / week; 4-10's

Monday-Thursday, 7am-5 : 30pm

Offering an EXCELLENT SALARY ($70K-$83K+ depending on years of RN experience & education)

Additional Language Differential Pay Available : Spanish,Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL

$2 / hour (Approximately $4,160 Annually)

The RN provides direct patient care including nursing assessment, vital signs, draws blood for lab tests ordered, assists with medication monitoring, administration of intramuscular medications in support of the integrated health model.

• Establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate health and treatment goals
• Identifies potential barriers to quality care and opportunities for improvement and reports them to the Lead Nurse
• Performs specialized duties as required by special clinical situations or treatment populations consistent with license and scope of practice, including providing patient engagement in treatment, treatment planning and patient education and support
• Manages the medication system, administration and documentation of medication treatment, establishes appropriate client files that conform to agency guidelines, best professional practice and state licensing regulations
• Completes all client documentation within the day the service is provided.
• Participates in departmental assessment of treatment protocols and program outcomes by providing requested information related to client treatment and referral to other specialty and behavioral health services

Qualifications

EDUCATION : AA, BS or MA in nursing

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS : Registered nurse with the Arizona State Board of Nursing. One (1) year prior experience in psychiatric setting and / or working with members receiving behavioral health services; experiencing working within psychiatric crisis and / or with members with serious mental illness preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES : Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members. Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions. Strong understanding of substance use, addiction and recovery principles. Knowledge of chronic conditions experienced by those with serious mental illness preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS : Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, electronic medical record, NextGen preferred

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS : Valid Arizona Driver's License, Active AZ Registered Nurse License.

Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role

Must be able to pass a drug screen and TB test

Physical Demands : Must have high manual dexterity and tactile sensation in hands and fingers to allow for completion of medical procedures.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
