A Senior Superintendent position in Oakland, CA, is available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position, you must have previous construction experience. The responsibilities include :

• Drive job site safety and establish site safety expectations.
• Create 6-week look-ahead schedules and monitor overall project schedule.
• Coordinate with project management.
• Review job cost and manage labor quantities.
• Complete daily and periodic report updates.
• Oversee quality control.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Train craft workers.
• Mentor Superintendents.

Garney Construction is looking for candidates with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field. They should have 10 plus years of water and waste water construction experience with a self-performing general contractor. Willingness to travel and / or relocate is also required.
