About The Position

ID : 73438201 Shift : 8H Day Description : Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked Requisition Comments and coversheet required at time of submission. DEDICATED VASCULAR US TECH NEEDED FOR BIDMC - Monday through Friday 8 : 00 - 4 : 30PM. Travel Vascular Ultrasound Technologist -Required : 3 5 years post-training, full-time experience in a dedicated Vascular Ultrasound Lab (not general ultrasound), Current credential : RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI); BLS required. Demonstrated independent competency in the full spectrum of vascular testing, including (as applicable) : carotid duplex; venous duplex (DVT, reflux / insufficiency, mapping); arterial physiologic and duplex (upper / lower extremities); bypass graft and stent surveillance; abdominal / visceral (renal, mesenteric); EVAR surveillance. Proven ability to work in a specialty environment with minimal orientation; strong communication with surgeons / APPs and clear, concise reporting. Proficiency with digital reporting systems / PACS; Epic experience preferred (or similar EMR). Preferred : Experience in an IAC-accredited vascular lab and / or an academic teaching hospital. Experience precepting trainees (fellows, residents, APPs) and collaborating in clinic setting. Important Note : Clinical rotations, internships, or student placements do not count toward the required 3 5 years of experience. We require post-training, independent vascular lab experience.
