Responsibilities
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a critical position responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This role blends software engineering and systems administration to automate operations, optimize resource usage, and drive continuous improvement across production environments. The SRE partners with IT, Development, and Security teams to design resilient systems, implement robust monitoring and alerting, and respond rapidly to incidents. Key responsibilities include developing automation solutions, managing cloud resources (primarily Azure), conducting post-incident reviews, and participating in 24 / 7 on-call rotations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cloud platforms, scripting, DevOps practices, and modern monitoring tools, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive rapid incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Implement and manage logging, monitoring and alerting systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal IT, Development and Security teams to ensure new features and services are designed with reliability in mind and have metrics defined to report against
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent future incidents.
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in capacity planning and cost optimization processes for cloud resources, leveraging Azure's native tools and third-party solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24 / 7 support for critical systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.Demonstrated experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or network operations prior to SRE specialization.Advanced knowledge with Azure, working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud).Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as code concepts.Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, Puppet, Chef,).Advanced scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).Experience implementing integrating and customizing hybrid cloud-based APM, monitoring and AIOps observability platforms and incident response workflows (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana / Prometheus, Azure Monitor)Strong communication and collaboration skills.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).Deep experience managing Windows Server environments in hybrid (on-prem / cloud) scenarios.Experience integrating monitoring and alerting with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator AssociateITIL Foundations certificationKnowledge of networking and security best practices.Experience with database management and optimization.Overview
