Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress
  • Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to address challenging behaviors
  • Work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to provide educational support
  • Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with Applied Behavior Analysis principles

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
  • Proficiency in data collection methods
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
  • Ability to educate and interact effectively with clients and their families
  • Strong skills in behavior management and implementing behavioral therapy techniques

    Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Contract

    Pay : $23.50 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 20 – 40 per week
