    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, and obstetrical cases.
  • Perform general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques.
  • Manage ventilation and acute volume / BP issues, and handle arterial and central line placements.
  • Work collaboratively with other physicians and medical staff in a trauma level 3 facility.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have an active CA license, with a permanent CA DEA preferred.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Proficiency in adult, pediatric, trauma, and complex anesthetic procedures required.
  • Experience with a variety of surgical anesthesia cases, excluding open-heart surgery.

    • Working Hours

  • Shifts vary in length from 8 to 24 hours.
  • Willingness to cover nights and weekends is essential.
  • Initial daytime shifts to acclimate, followed by night rotations as comfort increases.

    • Skills

  • Expertise in pain management and post-operative care including epidural and extremity blocks.
  • Ability to perform complex vascular, thoracic, and neurosurgical anesthesia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Flexible approach to work hours and adaptability to varied shift patterns.
