Job description

Job Title:

  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Salem, Oregon Pay Rate: $21.50–$22.50/hour + $1,000 Hiring Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time | Multiple Schedules Available Paid Training Provided – No Experience Required Looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real impact every day?
  • Join Community Access Services as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Salem, Oregon and help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independent, fulfilling lives.
  • We’re currently hiring multiple full-time DSPs in Salem for a variety of schedules, including day shifts, evening shifts, and overnight DSP positions.
  • Whether you have experience or are completely new to the field, we provide all training needed to succeed.

  • As a DSP, you’ll provide person-centered support that helps individuals thrive at home and in their community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Building positive, supportive relationships with individuals served Assisting with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks Supporting community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals Encouraging independence, confidence, and skill development Administering medications and completing documentation accurately Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment Advocating for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support Qualifications for the DSP Position Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a national background check Ability to become an approved company driver Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset Why You’ll Love Working at CAS: Competitive Pay: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience) Predictable Scheduling: Consistent schedules to support work-life balance Professional Growth Opportunities: Ongoing paid training, career development, and advancement opportunities Strong Management Support: Collaborative leadership team committed to employee success Free Training: CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and more!
