JOB TITLE : FINANCE & BENEFIT ASSOCIATE
PROGRAM : Administration
STATUS : Full Time; On-Site
FLSA DESIGNATION : Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO : Finance Supervisor
DEGREE : High School Diploma or GED (Business Classes preferred)
EXPERIENCE : General Accounting including General Ledger data entry and payroll data entry preferred
ROP : $17.50- $18.50 / Hour
POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Finance and Benefit Associate is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the
organization by performing a variety of accounting and payroll-related tasks. This position ensures the
accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintenance of financial records, and adherence to relevant
regulations and company policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational
skills, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Works with the Finance Team and program teams to ensure all financial and payroll activities are accurately submitted, verified and approved.Follows the designated policy and procedures to review and develop sound checks and balances pertaining to fiscal operations; including accounts recevable and accounts payableEnsures all costs are appropriately documented, allocated and verified, based on the guidelines for each funder.Prepares, enters and monitors payroll informationPrepares payroll related records and remittancesPrepares payroll reports as required by outside sourcesResponsible for ensuring appropriate documentation of purchases, invoices and receipts are submitted to finance software appropriatelySubmits invoices and verifies details are accurately included to correctly direct invoice chargesMonitors and performs random audits of all petty cash accountsProcesses new employee payroll related informationMonitor and submit all payments for benefits, staff mileage and contracted services, ensure accuracy.Maintains effective working relationships with staff, service providers and auditorsAssists with other duties in Finance and Payroll / HR to assure appropriate completion and good checks and balancesAssists Human Resources Officer as needed in payroll, benefits, onboarding and filing duties
Prepares monthly benefit billingsResponds to employment / wage inquiriesResponds to unemployment wage inquiriesNotify / track benefit payments for those on leaves of absenceAssists with completion of employee ADP files and onboarding duties as requested.Assists in ensuring accuracy of charges for any costs affected by staff changes, turnover or new hires.Performs other duties assigned by Supervisor and AdministrationDISCLAIMER :
