A company is looking for a Director of Sales, Commercial Sites.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and recruit commercial and industrial facilities for participation in Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs
Present the value proposition of VPP participation and build long-term relationships with stakeholders
Negotiate participation agreements and coordinate onboarding of sites into the VPP platform
Required Qualifications
3-8 years of experience with demand response, virtual power plants, or DER aggregation
Experience selling or partnering with commercial or industrial customers
Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC and refrigeration
Understanding of wholesale power markets or utility programs
Existing relationships with property managers, facility operators, or energy consultants
