About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, CNMT or NMTCB required

Must-Have :

• Must be comfortable with a Monday-Friday schedule with varying start times from 5 AM to 9 AM.
• Will be required to take call on a rotating basis for one week at a time, including after hours and weekends.
• Must be willing to float between units as needed.

Description :

This position requires a skilled individual capable of multitasking and working as a team player.

Experience in adult and nuclear cardiology settings is essential.

Duties include gastric emptying studies, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, whole body bone scans, liver imaging, and perfusion / ventilation studies.

The technologist will be responsible for performing exercise and pharmacological stress tests.

Additional responsibilities include starting and maintaining peripheral IVs.

Familiarity with the storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials is required.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This role may involve working with patients across various age groups and diagnoses.
