Estimator - Commercial Construction Estimator

Position Overview

The Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring competitive bidding for various commercial construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, pricing strategies, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work and required materials.
• Utilize On-Screen Take Off software to enhance the accuracy of estimates.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about current pricing trends and labor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop bid proposals and strategies.
• Prepare and submit hard bids for projects in line with client requirements and deadlines.
• Engage in private bidding processes where necessary, providing competitive yet profitable pricing.
