Job descriptionBonus based on performance Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates. Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs for residential and commercial projects. Collaborate with project managers, sales, and field teams to gather necessary information. Prepare detailed proposals and present estimates to clients professionally. Track and update estimates based on changes in project scope or material costs. Analyze historical project data to improve estimation accuracy. Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation. Assist management in pricing strategies and cost control measures. Proven experience as a construction or project estimator, preferably in pool construction, home improvement, or holiday lighting. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency with estimation software or spreadsheets. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. High school diploma required; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
