As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to situations, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a helpful attitude. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location. Collaborate with site staff and visitors to promote a secure environment. Maintain detailed records and write reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Support access control procedures, including monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
