About The Position

NICU Registered Nurse (per diem) – Sinai-Grace Hospital (Detroit, MI)

Schedule & Pay

Location : DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital – 6071 W Outer Dr, Detroit, MI 48235

Shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM  or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Pay : $47 – $49 / hour

Key Responsibilities :

Provide specialized nursing care for premature and critically ill newborns

Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and IVs

Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the NICU team to ensure optimal care

Educate and support parents and families throughout their NICU journey

Document assessments and care accurately in the patient’s chart

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of NICU RN experience (within the past 3 years in a hospital setting)
• Active State RN license (Michigan or compact eligible)
• Current BLS , ACLS, NRP (AHA only)
• Valid driver’s license
• Health clearances : MMR, Varicella, TB test or Chest X-ray
• COVID-19 vaccination + booster
