Real Estate Coordinator
The Real Estate Coordinator plays a key role in supporting site acquisition, due diligence, and development process for new and existing data center projects. This position assists the real estate and site selection team with transaction coordination, research, documentation, and project tracking to ensure efficient and timely execution.
What You Will Do :
- Coordinate real estate activities including site selection, offers, purchase agreements, leases, renewals, and terminations.
- Input and maintain detailed records of property information, key dates, and contractual obligations.
- Assist in preparing LOIs, RFP responses, and internal approval packages.
- Work with external consultants (brokerage, legal, etc.) and public entities (including utility providers) to coordinate all facets of real estate activities.
Due Diligence & Documentation :
Support due diligence efforts by gathering NDAs, test fits, surveys, utility data, and other reports and / or studies.Track and organize documents for each transaction using company systems or platforms.Coordinate with internal legal, finance, and pre-development teams to ensure document accuracy and completeness.Maintain folder structure for data rooms, new projects, and active real estate deals.Data & Research :
Conduct market and site research to identify viable data center locations, infrastructure capacity, and development constraints.Support the analysis of land comps, tax incentives, and regional energy and fiber availability.Maintain market tracking databases and dashboards.Research projects assigned, including gathering real estate information, maps, pictures, customer information, competitor information, and other relevant data.Cross-Functional Coordination :
Act as a liaison between brokers, consultants, local jurisdictions, and internal teams.Help coordinate meetings, project updates, and milestone tracking across departments.Support project managers in ensuring that real estate milestones align with development timelines.Assert discretion and professionalism when given access to confidential and / or private information.Administrative & Reporting :
Maintain real estate files, spreadsheets, and project trackers.Prepare status reports, executive summaries, and presentation materials.Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.What You Will Need To Be Successful :
Bachelor's degree or professional equivalent professional experienceOne or more years' experience supporting commercial real estate and / or construction project management.Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteBachelor's degree or professional equivalent professional experience1-3 years experience supporting residential, commercial real estate, and / or construction project management.CoStar, Google Earth, GIS programsExcellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, pre-development, and finance teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteNice To Have :
Knowledge of real estate, lease language, and financial impact of real estate deals with excellent analytical skills.Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (includes InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro).Knowledge Skills and Abilities You Will Need :
