Minimum Requirements :
1. Must have valid Florida’s Chauffeur’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
2. Must have at least one (1) year of commercial driving experience or be a graduate of an accredited and company approved truck driver training school.
3. Not have more than one (1) accident or two (2) driving traffic violations over the most recent 3-year period.
4. Not have been involved in a preventable type of accident within the past two (2) years.
5. Not have a D.U.I. conviction regardless of the type of vehicle operated (company or private).
6. Not have had their driver license suspended for traffic violations within the past (3) years.
7. Must be bilingual (English / Spanish) to communicate with a large Hispanic member population.

Job Description :
1. Assists clients entering and exiting company shuttle buses to ensure their safety.
2. Ensures that all vehicle passengers are safely seated using seatbelts and safety straps for wheelchair bound clients.
3. Maintains and submits daily transportation attendance logs, mileage reports, and travel logs.
4. Ensures and maintains vehicle cleanliness for the enjoyment of passengers.
5. Immediately reports any emergency situations to police / fire (911) as well as to the Transportation Coordinator involving the transportation of center participants.
6. Conducts daily pre and post-drive vehicle inspections to ensure that vehicles are safe prior to commencing the daily route.
7. Immediately reports faulty transportation equipment to Transportation Coordinator for repairs.
8. Adheres to all Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rules and regulations, including training requirements for drivers.
9. Refrains from utilizing mobile phones and devices while operating the bus. Refrains from holding personal phone calls or texting in the presence of clients.
Refrains from texting and driving.
10. Maintains communications with bus dispatcher via radio
11. Other duties that may be assigned by the agency’s Manager, Transportation Services or the agency’s President and CEO.

The Rainbow Intergenerational Learning Center and Child Care Program provides an opportunity for children to develop their maximum potential.
The service is offered to working for low-income families. By providing them with access to safe, quality child care services, children of low-income families are prepared to compete on an equal basis with other children of better economic means.
By identifying the obstacles that prevent children from learning, the program enables its children to develop the skills necessary to succeed in their school life.
In addition, parents will find a safe, professional, loving, and culturally sensitive environment for children while they become better informed on issues relative to child rearing.
Rainbow Child Care Services are offered to children between the ages of 0 through 5. This program is offered on a sliding scale fee and subsided services are also available.
