We are looking for Senior Product Certification Expert to handle all the world-wide certifications (UL / CSA / VDE / TUV / IEC CB, etc.) for various product families in TE Connected Living Solutions Business Unit.

Job Responsibilites

• Business Unit PoC for product approvals certification activities globally
• Shall act as a project manager being diligent methodical and organized in carrying out the agency approval activities
• Excellent knowledge and understanding on the agency technical reports, test reports, specifications and procedures is a must
• Spearhead continuous improvement activities 5S and kaizen events for lean processes and cost saving activities
• Shall be subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal teams on the interpretation of technical standard requirements to be applied for each various product as per standard country regulations agency requirements
• Coordinate with the testing certification agencies track projects and lead them to a logical closure for all regulatory agency approvals activities for existing modified and new product
• Monitor standards developed review products and advise engineers to ensure product compliance
• Establish and maintain reliable records on all aspects of the approval process maintain the certified products information in TE systems accurately
• Resolve follow-up services and inspector variation notices from agencies including plant shutdowns
• Conduct training sessions on agency requirements and standards to internal teams
• Ability to multitask handling multiple projects and driving for project completion with multiple stakeholders is key for this role
• Should be able to interact with global stakeholders PM Sales etc directly with Customers and communicate technical details efficiently
• Cost down avoidance mindset and execute in actual product certification projects to achieve cost avoidance target
• Be technical expert for agency approval team support responsible for the overall technical quality of the team assisting manager in promoting the team to follow best practices
• Assist the product approval manager in managing all certification projects well with timely and accurate delivery
• Assist the manager to regularly maintain BU product approval management platform quality procedure documents knowledge sharing lesson learning best practice etc.

Key Job Skills and Knowledge

Years of Experience : 8+ years in Product Safety Certification Domain. Educational qualification : BE / BTECH Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
