Position Summary
As a Night Auditor , you will play a crucial role in executing all overnight audit and accounting procedures. This includes balancing daily revenue reports and reconciling financial transactions. You’ll also support front desk operations during the overnight shift, ensuring exceptional guest service, handling check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
Night Auditor Shift : 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM. A perfect opportunity to get first tracks in the morning!
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities
Ensure the day’s financial postings are accurate and align with supporting records.Compile and forward all requested reports to the appropriate personnel.Reconcile and close daily credit card accounts and transactions.Extract and export .csv files to create and analyze MS Excel spreadsheets and reports.Analyze accounting information to streamline inter-department operations.Act as a liaison between the accounting and lodging departments.Create registration cards and encode keys for incoming arrivals.Provide guest services and meet all guest requests during your shift.Handle emergencies and monitor communications with the Lodging Director and other authorities as needed.Secondary Responsibilities
Practice ‘Exceptional Service’ skills in all communications with guests.Attend meetings as scheduled or requested.Set housekeeping statuses for incoming arrivals.Complete any additional assignments as directed by the Lodging Director or Front Office Manager.Specific Job Skills
