2nd Shift Machine Operator

Nesco Resource is looking for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift : Monday-Friday 2PM-10PM (Can be adjusted if necessary)

Pay : $20-$22 / Hour depending on experience

Job Overview : We're seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. In this role, you'll work with advanced CNC and manual machinery to produce high-tolerance components for industries such as aerospace, medical, and commercial. The ideal candidate has a mechanical mindset, a commitment to quality, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate CNC lathes, mills, and / or Swiss-style machines in a high-precision environment

Load raw materials, monitor machine cycles, and inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Perform basic machine setups and make minor adjustments as needed

Maintain clean and safe work area in accordance with company standards

Identify and report any machine or quality issues to the supervisor or setup technician

Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals

Read and interpret blueprints and job travelers

Qualifications :

2 year of experience operating CNC or manual machinery (training available for mechanically inclined candidates)

Willingness to learn how to operate / run a Lathe Machine

Ability to use precision measuring instruments

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols

High attention to detail and quality

Reliable attendance and strong communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent
