Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

Job Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

We are a 14-bed community Intensive Care Unit. We see a wide variety of critical patients both medical as well as surgical.  Our patient population includes, though is not limited to, cardiac, respiratory, sepsis, surgeries, renal, GI, psych, DKA and infectious disease processes. We are a smaller unit that fosters a strong team culture.  We strive to provide a culture of healing for our patients as well as create a unit that engages employees and encourages their personal growth and development. The ratio is 2 : 1.

• Shift Details :  Part time, 24 hours / week, day shift and night shift opportunities available

• Primary Location :  Logan Regional
• Additional Details :  Licensed RN experience in an ICU and / or high acuity setting preferred. One year of licensed RN experience required.

Essential Functions

Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice, complies with regulatory standards, practices within scope of licensure, provides accurate & timely documentation, and understands legal implications of care delivery.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$34.53 - $52.25
