Responsibilities
- Reviewing construction specifications and plans
- Understanding scope requirements based on project documents and customer communication
- Completing digital takeoffs ensuring all spec and plan details have been captured
- Preparing customer proposals incorporating project details
- First line of contract negotiations
- Proficiency in single ply membranes, standing seam metal and shingles
- Proficiency in metal wall panels is a plus
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an Estimator for Commercial Roofing
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 5 years in estimating
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Strong work ethic
