Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Represent creditors, trustees, committees, and other interested parties in both corporate and consumer bankruptcy proceedings.

2. Advise clients on the legal aspects of bankruptcy, restructuring, and collections, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and foreclosure proceedings.

3. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to bankruptcy and creditors' rights, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.

4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential risks and outcomes, and develop effective legal strategies and solutions.

5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, as required.

6. Stay up-to-date with changes in bankruptcy law and regulations, and educate clients on how these changes may impact their cases.

7. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of bankruptcy cases.

8. Contribute to business development efforts, including building and maintaining client relationships, participating in industry events, and promoting the firm's brand and services.

Qualifications :

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on creditor rights, Chapter 7, Chapter 11, collections, foreclosure, and restructuring.

4. Strong litigation skills, with experience representing clients in state and federal courts.

5. Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.

6. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

7. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.

9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.

10. A commitment to providing exceptional client service, and a passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
