Assistant Director of Development, Donor Relations
Nevada Athletics is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Development, Donor Relations. This position is responsible for donor engagement and stewardship activities for individuals who support Nevada Athletics. Positions support events, stewardship and donor relations, donor communication, Wolf Pack Athletic Association (WPAA) benefits, as well as, ensure data and processes are successful for the operation. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletics Director of Development and Alumni Engagement.
Key responsibilities include :
- Oversee and manage stewardship activities for football and mens basketball games.
- Responsible for acknowledgement process thank you notes and WPAA thank you strategy.
- Assist major gift officers in creating stewardship opportunities for donors to help them through the moves management process.
- Responsible for coordination and implementation of the WPAA benefits, including distributing parking, managing donor gifts, stickers and fulfilling all benefits.
- Design and develop automated business processes such as gift processing, financial management, donor management and associated documentation.
- Review and assist with departmental workflow and make recommendations for efficiency.
- Work with data analytics and prospect management staff to ensure data is being entered properly for effective donor relations management, including that the exception list for donors (failed upload into Paciolian) are included in donor communications.
- Develop and execute social media strategy and create graphic content for WPAAs social media account.
- Work in conjunction with creative staff to collaborate on all content.
Required qualifications :
Bachelors Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a masters degree and one year of related work experience.Related experience : Fundraising, data management, college athletics, or similar experience.Schedule :
Variable work schedule to include nights and weekends.Occasional travel.Compensation grade :
