Security Officer Hospital Flex Patrolman

As a Security Officer Hospital Flex Patrolman in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Position Type : Flex

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or conditions.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or suspicious activities, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal supervisors and client representatives to communicate issues and support the needs of the healthcare facility.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment including areas such as the morgue and assist with restraining individuals as required.
  • Vaccination(s) required for work in hospital settings.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
