Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or suspicious activities. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual occurrences as observed during patrols. Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. Collaborate with Allied Universal and healthcare facility personnel to support a secure environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as morgues. Must be able to restrain individuals in hospital settings as required. Vaccination(s) required for hospital assignment(s). Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer Hospital Patient Support
As a Security Officer Hospital Patient Support in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and empathy. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
