Accounting Manager (Bilingual in Korean)

Job Summary

As an Accounting Manager at Kakao Entertainment Global Corp., you will oversee financial operations for our U.S.-based K-pop initiatives, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will manage accounting processes to support artist promotions, merchandise sales, and business growth in the U.S. market. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will drive financial accuracy, manage audits, and provide insights to support our global presence in the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster collaboration and professional development.
• Implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, including accruals, disbursements, and intercompany accounting.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review monthly ledger account reconciliations and journal entries, analyzing fluctuations for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain corporate accounting and disbursement policies, aligning with U.S. market trends and K-pop branding.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective financial controls to mitigate U.S. GAAP compliance and operational risks.
• Provide financial insights through budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support artist visibility and revenue growth.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.
