Summary
Under the direction of the Product Engineering Manager, the CAD Specialist is responsible for various CAD projects, including creating and setting up patterns, maintaining databases, and providing design support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support in setting up and maintaining files and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Develop and design patterns, creating drafted specifications for suppliers.
- Send drawings to vendors and instruct them as necessary.
- Develop and design frames when needed.
- Create and maintain databases while synchronizing drawing layers to the appropriate software.
- Assist customer service with issues (configuration layouts, dimensions, recut for warranty issues, etc.)
- Assist and troubleshoot production issues (E.g., maintenance, production).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Develop technical drawings.

2 years' experience with relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc)2 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc)Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or related field.Desirables
