As a Test Technician 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in conducting tests and troubleshooting activities to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute test plans and procedures, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for product improvements.

Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

In this role, you will impact the overall product quality and customer satisfaction by ensuring that all testing activities are carried out accurately and efficiently.

You will collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests and troubleshooting activities according to test plans and procedures
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve testing issues
  • Operate assigned equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Support the Honeywell Operating System
  • Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
  • Comply with all safety rules
  • Analyze data and reports
  • Set up and change over equipment
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools
  • This is a 2nd shift position M-F 2 : 30pm 11 : 00pm

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.

S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in test technician or related roles
  • Basic technical skills in conducting tests with electronic test equipment

WE VALUE

  • Ability to analyze information and concepts.
  • Experience with test equipment and tools (environmental test chambers, O-Scope, power supply etc)
  • Degree in electronics (Associates or any certification).
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently.
  • Creative thinking and idea generation.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to communicate information clearly.
